Doctor Who Appreciation Society Conventions
Doctor Who Appreciation Society Conventions section
On Saturday 12th February 2011 The Doctor Who Appreciation Society opened the first section of it’s extensive archive online, with a selection of interviews with people from the show’s history.
The feedback has been very positive and as such we have brought forward the release of the next category.
On Saturday 26th February 2011 the ‘Conventions’ section will open. This will feature documentation based around a number of DWAS events, mostly the early years, and will include items of correspondence never before made public.
Future selections will include items on fictional newspaper stories, reference publications, the changing faces of the Doctor and more.
Each item is, where possible presented in it’s original format showing the public the changing face of Doctor Who fandom
The collection can be viewed online at www.dwasonline.co.uk. The Doctor Who Appreciation Society is the longest running Doctor Who fan club in existence.

February 23rd, 2011 - 7:31amThe honorary Vice President of DWAS, Nicholas Courtney has sadly passed away. Just to let you know, so you can do a tribute.
He lived from 1929 until the 22nd February 2011. Such a great loss.
