UK/USA Journey to the Centre of the Tardis Trailers

Doctor Who Journey to the Centre of the Tardis

Saturday 27th April 6:30pm – 7:15p BBC One BBC1 HD

The Tardis is captured by a spaceship salvage team, sending its systems into meltdown.

As the Doctor introduces himself to the motley crew of galactic rag-and-bone men, he realises Clara is still trapped within his malfunctioning ship, so he persuades his new acquaintances to help find his companion, taking them deep into the heart of his beloved blue box.

But their hopes of a straightforward rescue are dashed when it turns out Clara is not the only one down there. Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman star, with Ashley Walters (Inside Men).

i think the doctor’s name will be something that was standing right in front us the whole time like what if his name is John smith. and i don’t think they will reveal the name until the end or they will just do something like getting the doctor to say ” my name is……” and end the episode and wait for the 50th

it depends on the story really, and i would’ve liked a alien ghost one.

Call me a pratt, but I had actually forgotten about this story, haven’t read or heard anything about it in months and then the trailer comes up and I’m like “Oh yeah ! Man I am so excited !” 😆

The name of the Doctor, I wonder if we do find out, or will it be like Asylum of the Daleks with ‘ever Dalek ever’.

Looks similar to the dress on Amelia Williams’ book Summer Falls and the robot sent for Clara in Bells of St John.

But that was part of the surprise of the story, you wouldn’t want it all shown to you in the trailer, surely?

i think it makes it more exciting, whereas hide, it was just like… well there’s not going to be any good vs evil then. and if they wanted this alien not to be bad, they should’ve said in the trailer, because i was getting my hopes up for a scary ghost alien story.

But why should all aliens in the universe be baddies?

(Thals, Sensorites, Xerons, Rills etc etc)

i do agree with you in terms of comedic and non threatening monsters, which is one of the main assets of the show.

I am a fan of doctor who( well the classic series) and Im 16 and i feel that the new series has gone down hill. It is too comidic and full of sex jokes. The monsters are’t threatoning anymore( remember in hide the romeo monster) and the doctor is just a moron in space. The show should be like the classic series dark, gothic, violent and with stories that make sense. The doctor should be a dark and mysterious god like figure

True very true. Theres something i have noticed with recient episodes. With the eception of cold war most episodes fetureing monsters have been disapointing. They ether turn out to be good guys or there just rubbish

Outnumbered – I think your kinda missing the point.

This story is set totally within the Tardis [well, except the bits outside the Tardis], and we get to see parts of the Tardis that are largely unseen, and we also get to see the centre of the Tardis, something no Doctor Who fan has ever seen before, that’s the beauty of this upcoming story.

Personally I found the Dinosaur story to be silly and over the top. I’m still not sure why Moffat decided to have a story featuring a spaceship full of Dinosaurs, unless he just couldn’t think up enough good idea and thought “Something with Dinosaurs ? . . . . yeah why not”.

In the BBC America trailer, there’s creatures that kinda look like that Pyrovile woman from 2008’s ‘The Fires of Pompeii’.

Boy I can’t wait to see this episode on Saturday 😀
