The Doctors embark on their greatest adventure in this 50th anniversary special.
In 2013, something terrible is awakening in London’s National Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and somewhere in space an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion. All of reality is at stake as the Doctor’s own dangerous past comes back to haunt him.

November 9th, 2013 - 9:13pmIf this is what was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con after the end of series 7 it’s no wonder there were strict instructions and warnings not to leak it however annoyed us UK fans were at the time.
Hope we don’t actually see a still too brief enactment of the Time War in full swing in the 75 minutes for the episode.
This is potentially more like what I yearn to see the revamped Doctor Who as being more like all the time.

My theory is John Hurt is playing an older version of the parrell earth version of the 10th Doctor: this also explains why he is so close with Rose.
