Doctor Who – The Curse Of The Black Spot

Doctor Who – The Curse Of The Black Spot
Saturday 7 May
6.15-7.00pm BBC ONE

The TARDIS is marooned onboard a 17th-century pirate ship whose crew is being attacked by a mysterious and beautiful sea creature, as the time-travelling drama continues.

Becalmed and beset by cabin fever, the pirates have numerous superstitious explanations for the Siren’s appearance. The Doctor has other ideas but, as his theories are disproved and every plan of escape is thwarted, he must work to win the trust of the implacable Captain Avery and uncover the truth behind the pirates’ supernatural fears – and he must work quickly, for some of his friends have already fallen under the Siren’s spell…

The Doctor is played by Matt Smith, Captain Avery by Hugh Bonneville, Amy by Karen Gillan and Rory by Arthur Darvill.

No River isn’t dead. Her Future is the Doctor’s past. She can’t die literally because you have already watched her future. DUH!She died with David Tennant in the silence of the library if you remember?

I must say, I’m quite looking forward to this episode, not least becasue the Doctor finally meets Pirates in a full-blown Pirate-setting adventure (“I wonder why they didnt try it before? Hmh!..” to quote “theSixthDoctor” .) 😀 and 😉

Once the two part opening to the series has lured viewers into the Series, I think this story should get off to a fairly high-paced start, having already familiarised its audience by this point in Series 6.

The Cybermen returning, as far as we can seem will unfortunately just be the usual lot. Ive seen the pictures in radiotimes. Pretty lame a letdown, if you ask me. They had plenty of oppurtunity to bring back the real-world Space-Cybermen, or atleast change designs to their face piece. How lame that they have once again just re-hashed the old ones we’ve seen about a dozen times already. I mean, what more can they do with them?! ❗

i like it when the silence says “how fast can you run” to amy because that means the silence are chasing her or all of them.
(i think it is a silence because of the background voice which is a silence’es voice)
