I’m hoping for a new portrayal of the character which, while having hints of her previous incarnations (same person after all), gives something new to the role other than a change of gender.

ppl stop thinking Dr Who is dead just because its a lady we have all been prepared for this what with Missy. Who know she might be the greatest Doctor we’ve seen. So give her a chance

Make or Break time for Doctor Who. I certainly wish her all the best, and maybe for a series over 50 years old it needs a different direction. It certainly opens the scope of the series to a wider remit. That might not be a bad thing.

Wow, she had no dialogue at all and about 10 seconds of dialogue give the woman a change look at how everyone criticized Missy and now she’s adored, same with Bill and now she’s adored this could be the same. She’s got an enormous weight on her shoulders now the least you could do is give her a chance

  • The Outcast

    Same.

I don’t believe it !!! (jokes) but I wasn’t keen on Missy, till I saw her episodes which I then loved, and cried at her last one, just have to wait till Christmas to see what she’s like

Because a woman is the Doctor? Seriously? I can sort of understand an opposition to a female Doctor but come on, now it has been announced, give her a chance. She could give a fantastic portrayal of the Doctor! Only time will tell.

This is going to shake things up and separate the fans from the people who are terrified of a woman Doctor
