The Doctor and the Dalek Game Launches Today!

Join the Doctor, voiced by Peter Capaldi, in a brilliant new Doctor Who game that’s just launched on the CBBC website!

The Doctor and the Dalek is a thrilling new game voiced by Peter Capaldi and Nicholas Briggs, the voice of the Cybermen and Daleks. It’s an absolutely epic ride as the game whisks you from a Cyber-ship in deep space to the legendary tombs of Telos and even to Sontar, homeworld of the Sontarans and never before seen on TV! The clip above shows you it’s action all the way as the Time Lord teams up with one of his old enemies in a dangerous mission into the unknown…

Gameplay allows you to take control of the Dalek. Succeed with the challenges thrown your way and you’ll “power up” its abilities but watch out – the game gets harder as you progress with the adventure…

The Doctor and the Dalek was written by Phil Ford (Into the Dalek, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Wizards vs Aliens) and produced by BBC Wales and Somethin’ Else in association with BBC Future Media. In other words, it’s full of the excitement and humour that you expect from any Doctor Who adventure.

In addition to joining the Doctor, fighting monsters and crashing through the cosmos, the game will give you a useful head start with computer coding, so as you battle Cybermen you’ll be improving your cyber skills!

Check out a gallery of images from the game or read the press release issued earlier this week. And don’t forget: it’s available right now, exclusively on the CBBC website.
