Very good, and at times very dark finale. But it doesn’t rank among my favourite series finals. Here is my Top 8 Doctor Who series finale.

    1) Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways
    2) The Stolen Earth/Journey’s End
    3) The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang
    4) The Name of the Doctor
    5) Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
    6) The Wedding of River Song
    7) Dark Water/Death in Heaven
    8) Utopia/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords.

Great episode, glad to see it was not a let down, most second episodes are.
Shame we did not get more episodes like this instead of all the childish stories this season

also, wouldn’t it be nice to see the master’s tardis which was saint paul’s? what happened to the nether sphere? why did Osgood have to die??
i think clara should’ve committed suicide to be with danny

What a fabulous finale! Danny’s story was sad, Clara’s story was sad, The Doctor’s story was well you get the picture. Osgood’s dead, Danny’s dead, Seb’s well you also get that picture. I’m sad that the series is over but I’m looking forward to Frost at Christmas. And the DVD. And the Children in Need bit. And the well…you get the picture. 😉

The Doctor lied about Gallifrey for no reason

It wad good, but left a lot of unanswered questions. Eg what happened to the matrix data slice.
It was hinted thst st pauls was a tardis and it was on locked down, is it still on locked down?
Where did the danny cyberman go to? And lots more

it was good but i think it should’ve been better… sorry!
I didn’t see a point in the president thing, it came to nothing.
The Doctor never called missy the master in this ep, i felt that was needed.
that needed for answers, how did she escape? too many loose ends.
i think clara should’ve been with the doctor more.
osgood and kate didn’t do much
    the brigadier thing was weird
the doctor should’ve saved the day
the cybermen didn’t do much, they just stood around.
why did missy do it? to prove a point. i didn’t see the cybermen kill one person.
i just think it could’ve been pushed a lot more, and i think if clara’s really gone, she should’ve had more of a heroic end, and she should’ve said something like: ‘I’m clara oswald, and i saved the doctor.’
i don’t think she should’ve been in the main titles.
    missy should’ve done more.
    seb was wasted.

i think last week had the biggest shocks, and for me, the most memorable scenes (the volcano, the ending)

not sure what to think of christmas to be honest.

    November 8th, 2014 - 9:15pm

    What the hell was that!!!

Osgood killed with no further reference, Cyberment being ‘here to help’ as such, Missy being disintergrated in the blink of an eye and being very poorly used on the whole and a pethetic reference to the Brig at the end!

Why was the Doctor so upset about Gallifrey not being there? He’s not even bothered to look for it since the 50th!

    Just Terrible…

Like the end & that we got to see trailer for for christmas. Instead of just a title.

I’m probably the only one who is annoyed at moffat for killing off osgood because she was a good character especially after the Dr asked her to join the tardis

A brilliantly bleak, well written and well acted episode. I di almost switch off and run out the door screaming after the first two minutes but at least normality was restored after the opening. It was certainly a very ‘grown up’ episode, loved the links to the past and sends the season off on a high – the Christmas one……I think i’ll be looking forward to the next series instead.

So Danny’s dead but Clara’s lied and said he’s still alive for no reason at all? Or am I just too confused (which I am 😛 )
