OMG, Moffat is such a troll!!! Cannot believe it, Missy is the Master! For the people who said she was the Master, congratulations! My mind is literally blown right now also I hope we find out what happened to the Master after the End of Time next week!

Plus, the Master is a pretty cool as a woman!

The Cybus-men were so out of character to the classic era Cybers. The way these new ones walk is more in line to how they were before, baring in mind the classic ones were men in material based costumes.

I will however agree these modern ones are overpowered.

I HAVE A THEORY ON MISSY’S APPEARANCE FROM FLATLINE REGARDING CLARA!

Maybe the real Clara did die (as River said) in the time stream, and Missy chose her, altered her and brought her back to life!

I absolutely loved the episode right up until the point where we ‘discover’ who Missy is. Really upset, in the classic series the Master was perhaps my favourite villain and I thought Moffat would doña good job to restore him in the new series 🙁

Thanks – But the cybermen need flesh, and a brain. How did that work?

The skeletons were the real bodies of the dead people, whereas the bodies of the people in the nethersphere were virtual. The skeletons had been converted into Cybermen.

The Doctor saved Gallifrey. The Master went back to Gallifrey after saving the Doctor and so is probably able to return

wow. what a brilliant episode! Kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish, and I screamed at Danny and Missy’s moments. Fantastic drama throughout! I didn’t like the kiss thing though, that was weird.
I have a few critisms though:

1 – Don’t cremate me was too much for a kids programme, for someone who has lost a family member and cremated them, this was not nice to here, even though the person will know it is fiction. But for YOUNG children, it was too much.

2 – the Cybermen should have got out earlier and started deleting people, as we were left with them just standing there, it didn’t really feel like a cliffhanger for the cyborgs, more Missy and Danny. Which was good too!

3 – Could’ve been clearer why some are kept as skeletons, and I’m not sure I liked how they were in such a public place, that didn’t make sense to me.

However, it was very good, fantastic writing, would’ve been good with more action but I am hoping for that next week!

ALL MOFFAT NEEDS TO DO NOW IS EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN DETAIL, MAINLY ABOUT THE MASTER, AND MAKE NEXT WEEK DRAMATIC AND BRILLIANT!

I also predict that Clara may commit suicide…
Capaldi and Coleman and Anderson were phenomenal

I refuse to make any judgement as yet – with two part finales, the second part can either drag down the whole story a little bit (e.g. TSE/JE and TPO/TBB for me. I still love them, but I don’t think the finales are as good as they could be) or they can make the whole thing soooooo much better (e.g. BW/TPOTW and AOG/D again, just a personal opinion).

If forced to make an initial judgement based solely on part one… Well, it was a bit slow and at times I think it strayed into areas Doctor Who shouldn’t, plus the section in the volcano-that-is-not-really-a-volcano-but-an-imaginary-dreamscape seemed pointless. But I will forgive it for these, because I loved it.

So I think the mistress regenerated into a woman to escape rassilon and the timelords and maybe team up with the doctor but also destroy earth

What have they done. Roger Delgado was brilliant, Peter Pratt and Geoffrey Beevers very good, Anthony Ainley excellent, Eric Roberts great. Since the new series started they have made the master complete rubbish, from him hearing druming to eating people, and now this, she has no villainous quality about her. Hopefully she’s regenerate in to someone, male or female, who can be a bad ass.

I don’t really mind that Missy has turned out to be The Master, but I agree Rodger Delgado will always be the best Master

Indeed. A big round of applause please for Mr Moffat for giving us Doctor Who’s ‘Jump the Shark’ moment…and hitting another nail in Doctor Who’s coffin. This show is heading nearer it’s end if Moffat is allowed to carry on and ‘lose the plot’.
