What a great episode to round of amy and rory’s last episode. Although i’m sure the Doctor could have told Brian what happened. And also do Amy’s mum and Dad even know what she’s been doing and now the fact shes dead!!
    Can’t wait for christmas.

He probably won’t, he’ll just never come back to face the reality of telling Brian that. Poor Brian will probably just be left looking after Amy and Rory’s plants, forever.

I do hope he visits them in New York, maybe take them for a travel? Not yet though, as they just left… Maybe in two years time or something? 🙂

Feel sorry for Brian, hope someone told him. But very good, and at least Amy finally opened up to how much she loved Rory.

Loved this episode…baby angels scary! It had everything a farewell episode to a companion needed..scares and tears plus Amy finally showing that Rory was the love of her life.Such a great ending ,nearly as good as Rose’s departure at end of series two..now that episode did make me cry.

  • I was so sad

    September 29th, 2012 - 8:36pm

I cried so much from when Rory decided to jump off the building till the episode ended. Easily the best episode ever. Made me cry even more than Doomsday.

  • RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND

    September 29th, 2012 - 8:33pm

Fantastic. the best episode. one thing though, i didnt like the way rory just vanished, i think it would’ve been nice to have a last word from him. but otherwise, fantastic. i was on the verge of crying, it was action packed, river was great, it had a proper beginning middle and end, and it had the object of surprise.

Goodbye Amelia Jessica Pond. Goodbye Rory Arthur William’s. I will miss you.

    Goodbye Doctor Who….. For Now…

Enjoed the episode, sad at the end, but i was wanting a bit more, seeing amy and rory at the end together ??? That would have been nice to seen , but tey did make the angels scary again!!! 8.5/10

It felt rushed – especially the ending. Is anyone going to tell Rory’s dad what happened to his son? The music was intrusive and far to loud in places. Why did the rogue angel not get The Doctor and River also??? Should have been a two parter. New York looked great. Is The Doctor a god or not? He seems to be when the script requires so and when not he is just powerless to help his friends. Mixed messages and way to ‘trying to be clever’ for its own good.

Simple. Wipe his mind in some way. And say to him he saved everyone he could.

Also, the new companion is from what looks like The Victorian era! Yay! A companion from the past! Best episode since 2005. The Weeping Angels were really scary. 😥 RIP Ponds.

Now that was more like it, easily the best episode of the new series for me. The bit at the end finally explained what happened at the end of the Eleventh Hour too !

  • The Supreme Dalek

    September 29th, 2012 - 8:10pm

The best episode so far! The Angels were scary again!
Surprising ending, I thought the Ponds would just stop travelling. Very emotional, nearly cried. Goodbye Ponds!! 😥
