What Did You Think of The Bells of Saint John?
What Did You Think of The Bells of Saint John?
The Doctorโs search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where wifi is everywhere. Humanity lives in a wifi soup.
But something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them.
As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.
Now that the 1st episode of series 7b has aired in the UK what did you think?, was it the best episode ever or just average.

March 30th, 2013 - 7:27pmHas anyone noticed that the current Clara has become a computer genius just like the future Clara. Possibly a new gene passed down to the future Clara?

The TARDIS
March 30th, 2013 - 7:17pmFailed of course to mention the stunning performance from Celia Imrie, and the reveal of the Great Intelligence which hints towards a greater story unfolding. Some good we pieces of music by Murray Gold as well.

The TARDIS
March 30th, 2013 - 7:15pmI loved this episode, the story was very clever and funny, the 45 minutes whisked by like a ride up the Shard! Unfortunately, the resolution was way too rushed, and Clara’s ongoing story is beginning to feel a bit too contrived. Jenna-Louise Coleman has continued to impress however, and the shots of London gave it a real feeling of freshness. The relationship between the two leads has grown immensely, and I look forward to seeing it advance.
7/10

March 30th, 2013 - 7:14pmMost disappointing Dr Who ever
Matt Burnett
March 30th, 2013 - 7:13pmThe episode isn’t working for me! The opening credit – specifically the Tardis-doors-opening-to-reveal-the-episode part – is awful: the idea is twee and 80’s and the execution itself was from a 1995 home video editing package. The Tardis seems characterless now, quite cold, and The Doctor seems to be almost irritating in his manic attitude! The new outfit is awful, the musical director needs shooting and the whole thing seems to be trying too hard whereas before it was exciting and charming. I hope this was a one-off blip!
DOCTOR WHO ONE
March 30th, 2013 - 7:11pmSadly mate, no 2 parters this series.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
March 30th, 2013 - 7:10pmThat was not the Doctor, it turned out to be a Spoonhead.

March 30th, 2013 - 7:10pmActually, it was the Great Intelligence, just using his face to communicate with that woman.

March 30th, 2013 - 7:08pmSo many brilliant things about this episode: the book by Amelia Williams, The Doctor epically riding up the shard and that nice twist with the Great Intelligence which I wasn’t expecting!
