Really enjoyed this episode, it felt familiar. It also set up next weeks departures nicely. So far, im enjoying series 7 more than 5 and 6.

I think Kate is a wonderful creation she is like a female version of the Brigadier I hope she returns to the series quite a bit

So much better than last week!!

    September 22nd, 2012 - 8:55pm

It was ok. Nowhere near as good as last week’s masterpiece, but it was still very enjoyable. The ending was, however, very disappointing. The two nurses have become the Boatswain of Series 7. Except this time they didn’t randomly appear at the end. 😉

Next week looks good! There were some interesting hints towards it in this episode. 🙂

exactly, a great, promising start that seemed more like the classic modern doctor who but then…a rubbish anitclimax ending. The 2 nurses never tried to stop the doctor let alone the main bad guy (his name/race misplaces my mind atm). Plus what was with the girl? she was one of the seven points but the doctor only took her out. A bit lame tbh

Odd… A interesting premise, a good first half, nice classic throwbacks… But then… The plot is hurriedly resolved on the ship at the end, and the resolution.. Awful…. Still, a nice little story, but not the best this series by far! 6/10

The ‘cube that plays the funky chicken’ and when the Doctor does the jobs, were really childish!

I think Power of three had a bit of a crazy plot. What happened to those two nurses and the little girl? Next week looks great!

While I thought the episode was good, I don’t think it found its feet, with all the jumping about at the beginning. The climax was rather underwhelming too (sonic screwdriver solves all! – this shouldn’t happen).

It was good,it did remind me a bit of the tochlfane thing with that invasion but generally good fun, nice to see unit, the cubes were good too!

  • Mr Evil Fez

    September 22nd, 2012 - 8:22pm

Because they wanted to test the cubes first?

Loved it. 8/10 Though there could’ve been more scenes with the shakri in it. I think in the angels take manhatten, amy and rory die by jumping off of that building

In my opinion, it was more of a 9th Doctor story.

    September 22nd, 2012 - 8:20pm

Didn’t like that much – the setup was good, but the ending felt tacked on and too ‘easy’. There were also lots of things left unexplained (or it was too fast for me to take them in), like why were the people all being taken to the Shakri ship?

  • Chopper

    September 22nd, 2012 - 8:19pm

That was without doubt one of the most awful, inconsistent and badly written episodes of I have ever watched. For example, when they got on the ship Rory and his dad were unconscious yet the two “aliens” had suddenly disappeared never to be seen again. Why were they taking people to the ship anyway ? Where did they go and why didn’t they try to stop the Doctor from blowing it up ?
