I can’t belive so many people liked asylum of the daleks. That ruined doctor who history! The doctor is slightly less impressive now and the daleks are way less important. And “parliament of the daleks”,seriously??? Who thought of that? 2/10

    well:
1: one day they might return and we’ll find out
2: maybe to test the cubes
3: maybe they were already dead and he couldn’t reverse it

I personally thought it was the worst so far, although the cubes were interesting and ominous and Mark Williams was great i spotted three major flaws.

    1. who and what were the alien nurses.
    2. why were they taking people in the first place.
    3. why did the doctor ignore all the people on the beds on the shakri ship and let it explode without even trying t help them.

i loved a town called mercy and asylum of the daleks but the other two i felt wee just a bit under par.

I really liked the way her left eyebrow moved in the second scene. Her character indeed had many layers.

  • Tennant Is the best doctor

    September 26th, 2012 - 3:01pm

It was lacking in some aspects but was over all alright. This episode (in my opinion) was just to show the ponds are adapting with doctor and because his visits are becoming less often they know they don’t need him anymore. But the episode was too rushed and probably should have been a 2 parter. The doctor walked onto a spaceship got a monologue soniced a machine and the ship blew up. I’m just hoping that the man that gave him the monologue (his name slips my mind) about the time lords being judged and such will come back and redeem himself with a well written 2 part episode. Everyone preformance was fabulous and I loved seeing the doctor bored and playing the wii 😀 if I was in Amy’s position I would stay with sexy Matt smith forever <3 even though I'd prefer tennant Matt is still fabulous tennant just took my heart with his deep performances. Along with all the hardcore 10 fans I cried when he regenerated :'(

Power of Three was the best episode for the season so far, with a lot to go for the episode got it’s morals out quickly and nicely and placed the audience in a state of awe through-out the episode’s 45 minute action packed lot, with the cubes being a rela mystery i was suspended in my seat for the entire episode, although the brushing off of the Shakri was not overly good it was made up for by the amazing music and comedy writing from Chris Chibnall who also wrote episode 2: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, like DOAS the episode was action-packed and i yet again stated – Good on you, Chibnall – i was impressed by how Chibnall handled Unified Intelligence Taskforce’s return and he was amazing at bringing in Kate Stewart (daughter of the 60s, 70s and 80s classic hero Brigaider Alisater Gordon Leth-Bridge Stewart)the alien nurses were amazing in the episode and gave it a kind of Prymaids on Mars feel all you need now is good effects, good zoom-ins and an excellent story plot – wait a minute- Power of Three already has alot of those – it gives the episode a more chilling feeling and i loved how the Cubes were handles, the comedy in the episode was amazing as was the music by Murray Gold, for this episode we had the best form of the DOCTOR WHO we have had this season need to say EVER featuring an excellent plot-line, amazing characters, great lines such as ‘Yes, You, You not me, I hate being Patient, Patience is for Wimps,’ and ‘Well my firing laser bolts and now it’s surfing the web’, great acting from Matt, Karen, Arthur and Kate this episode is bound to be considered a classic. I rate it – 10/10

I thought the mystery of the cubes was well thought out, it had a good feel to it, the cubes were a good touch and had a spooky feeling to it.
The Shakri were brushed off pretty quickly and were a good enemy for about 2 minutes until he vanished.
It was excellent to see Brian again.
The Doctor had some good humour in this episode and again during it i stated – good on you Chibnall.
i rate this episode 9 3/4 out of 10 while i rate the other episodes:
    Asylum of the Daleks: 9.5/10
    Dinosaurs on a Spaceship: 8/10
    A Town Called Mercy: 6/10
The Power of Three: 9 3/4 out of 10
Best episode of the season so far.
hopwfully the Angels Take Manhattan is good.

You don’t neccesarily need to say anything to be a good actor/actress.

Last years episodes were as wobbly as classic series’s sets! This year however is as consistent as my Smartie Potz desert.

Ok, but we’ve seen him without the Ponds before (The Lodger, Closing Time, The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe), so it’s nothing new. 🙂

I agree with Dalek Strategist. Tennant was a good Doctor, but The End of Time really did kill his character. The regeneration was just…. UGH!

So, I suppose you want to hear my Doctor list:

    1. William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith
