What Would You Like For The 50th Anniversary

What Would You Like To See For The 50th Anniversary

With the days and months ticking away to the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who what would you like to see happen to celebrate this momentous occasion.

A multi Doctor Story? Past Doctors and Companions playing other parts? anything as long as it involves Paul McGann or Doctor Who street parties perhaps?

2 roses? why not donna noble instead of rose 2? she could have amnesia at the end so she can’t remember the doctor can regenerate in the Stolen Earth.

i see what you mean, but the most likely thing is that we wont know when the last episode. it could all go on fine and dandy untl…SNAP! the BBC axes the show due to budget cuts, just like in good ol ’89.

why not the fourth? he wasn’t really in the five doctors. Tom baker regrets not coming back so he wouldn’t turn this down.

I’ll be honest… It would be cool if they had a whole scene and all involving his name being the downfall of his enemy. So long as we see the back of the head of the person talking through a window whenever the doctor’s name is said so that we don’t hear it.

They should really mark the occasion. As well as the usual series I think it would be great to have a 3 or 4 part mini series with the 8th Doctor set during the time war, leading up to his regeneration to the 9th Doctor.

    how about this:

the tardis hits a dimension rift taking the doctor who from the doctor who universe to the real world were the doctor meets all the actors who have played him and asks them to help him get back to his dimension and the tardis exterior is ripped from the interior moments after the doctor steps out.

An multi Doctor story is definitely what I would want to see happen the most. Especially if McCoy was in it 😀

I really believe that it should come back.

And The Death Zone as it could be a quite easy way to bring back loads of classic enemies for example: Sea Devils and Silurians ( redesigned ) in an Aquatic Area, The Krynoid in a Secluded Jungle , Dalek Civil War in a Gallifrey Parallel City , Ice Warriors in The Polar Caps of Gallifrey.

And who could be behind it?

    1) Fenric : Bitter after being banished to The Shadow Dimension, Fenric discovers a portal to The Matrix and recreates The Death Zone, thus bringing The Doctors to his “domain”.

    2) The Celestial Toymaker : ?

    3) Omega: Survival of the Fittest?

    4) The Valeyard : Destruction of The Doctors.

    Which Doctors? : 7th , 8th , 10th, 11th( no silly jokes )

    What about the 5TH Doctor????????

  • Blackadder The Whovian

    April 29th, 2012 - 12:49pm

Raston Robot has to come back.

Just as it had no quarms about who it killed.

Just as vicious as the Classic Cybermen and Daleks. Now Doctor Who monsters are there for cheap laughs. If the 50th Anniversary is full of cheap cracks of the 11th Doctor, i will ragequit.

The 50th Anniversary needs to be down to earth and gritty. No happy endings.

One Matt Smith ( I like X , X is cool ) so called “jokes” will make me find Paul McGann and arm him with a Rifle. And shoot Matt Smith.

*Blackadder screams in dismay as Matt Smith makes a “joke” and then tears his frontal lobes out*

Just a very good story. Maybe an old villain or a few cameos or something.

I reckon most of the classic monsters should return: Daleks, Cybermen, Master, Sontarans, Silurians and maybe even the Autons and especially the weeping angels and the silence. To basically see who would win the battle. But not them joining forces, them all against each other, like in Doomsday and all the doctors return and some of the companions: Sarah Jane Smith (would be a perfect e.g. but sadly she can’t be there (RIP)), Jo Grant, Ace and Susan and River Song and something to do with the time war, like the silence caused it all or something, but not too much that it gets silly. And especially don’t ever find out his name, the programme is DOCTOR WHO? not doctor rassilon song. I think the first three doctors were stolen or something, due to they passed away sadly and the rani could return. But like I said not too much, But I’ll leave it to Moffat as I trust him, just hopefully he brings back all the docs. 🙂

I really don’t know what to expect from the 50th anniversary, but all I ask is that it’s something epic 🙂

Maybe something to do with the Time War…?

I believe it can, I think it could destroy half an Dalek Empire.

How does this sound?: An intergalactic bounty hunter has been travelling through time, collecting specimens of loads of aliens thoughout time, and in his travels, he’s heard of a Time Lord called the Doctor. And he fancies some of his past regenerations as his main exhibit. His alien specimens escape onto the surface of an inhabited planet, and the various Doctors must fend for the planet.

But they should do more Episodes like that Van Gogh one. There is a Alien, but it is more about life being harsh but beautiful. Anyway as I was saying WENEEDMOREDALEKS! I Can’t wait till the Series 6 Dalek Ep.

If Steven Moffat does ” reveal ” the Doctors true name, then the man will have clearly killed the show DEAD, not forgetting the fact he’d be reducing the Doctor to the level of your average fictional character, when the Doctor really is the greatest character of them ALL !!, he is the adventurer in everyone of us, who goes out adventuring the whole entire Universe while defeating the odd bad guy or two, his far more then just another Time Lord, and he is so much more then me, or any other person, SO MOFFAT, DON’T REVEAL THE DOCTORS TRUE NAME, COS HE IS . . . . THE DOCTOR !!!!!. Wonderful chap . . . . ALL 11 of him 😀

  • Jason doctorwhoone

    April 29th, 2012 - 8:15am

Doctor Who is a question that should NEVER and I mean NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR BE ANSWERED, because if we discover the Doctors true name, then calling Doctor Who ” DOCTOR WHO ” is MEANINGLESS !!, plus the title has no doubt drawn in the shows audience over the years, for example, back in 1999’s Doctor Who Night, one man said that back in 1963, people tuned in to watch An Unearthly Child thinking that Doctor Who was a medical drama, which is understandable, considering Doctor Who don’t sound like the name of a Sci-Fi like Star Wars or Red Dwarf for example.
