What Would You Like For The 50th Anniversary

What Would You Like To See For The 50th Anniversary

With the days and months ticking away to the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who what would you like to see happen to celebrate this momentous occasion.

A multi Doctor Story? Past Doctors and Companions playing other parts? anything as long as it involves Paul McGann or Doctor Who street parties perhaps?

I think they should do a story about 1hour and 45 minuits. where the peg dolls return and most of the doctors enemies come back to face him also where donna remembers the doctor but she survives then he sees captain jack and askes him to help him (the doctor) also martha, rose and river returns to help the doctor fight the aliens and monsters but what they dont know is that it is part of the masters plan to destroy earth all of a sudden the companions get split up into diffrent times to defeat aliens in that time also craig returns for his final journy with the doctor as craig (in a parallel universe) gets upgraded but the only thing to save craig is for him to have emotion left over so that he remembers alfie (stormaggedon) but this time alfie is with sophie at there home but what sophie dosent know is that a cyber squad is coming to attack them but everything is fine because the doctor saves the day (obviously). But all the others are seperated (at the end) to face the master all by there selves but then the doctor comes and river shoots the master dead so then they get back to the tardis and escape. The End

I think the 10th Doctor should return along with Rose because on Journey’s End they were both left together on Bad Wolf Bay. Martha & Mickey could return easily. Something should happen with Donna like she starts to remember the Doctor and their adventures. I don’t think Christopher Eccleston or Paul McGaun should return because David Tennant CAN return because there was human duplicate of him that lives on with Rose and dosen’t regenarate. Rani, Clyde, Luke & Sky should be in it (and Mr Smith & K9… maybe) and explain to the Doctor that Sarah Jane died by the Trickster or something like that. Torchwood should be on it, Captainn Jack & Gwenn Cooper. The Master should have a BIG part in it. Obviously The Daleks should defintly be back for the 50th anniversary because it would be nice to see them with The Master. And the Cybermen. I forgot about Craig Owens, HAHA, he should defintly return! Although it would be sad to see Matt Smith go it would make sense if he regenarated, but I don’t think he will… There should be another twist with River Song (who HAS to return!) because she’s part Timelord, The Doctor’s wife and all that also the same with Madame Kovarian and the Silence. Madame Vastra & Jenny should return to help the Doctor. Obviously Jenna Louise – Coleman’s character will be the companion at that point and I think she will be a Timelady or The Doctor’s Daughter but I actually want her to just be a normal human being really. Amy & Rory HAVE to return, I don’t really know how because their going to die but Steven Moffat can’t leave them out!
Anyone agree or disagree with what I think?
    Please comment.
    Thankyou.

A multi doctor story with all doctors and companions. Julian Bleach and John Simms return as the Master and Davros. It will be an excellent gift for fans. Previous actors from classic show should get involved. A tribute to William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Elisabeth Sladen, Nick Courtney, Ian Marter, Jaqueline Hill and Michael Craze. Companions mixed with different doctors then all get reunited. This is a last chance to get everyone together.

the doctor and river go on sumsort of big adventure with lots of aliens and daleks and cybermen and other monsters including time lords ..while on that adventure river gets shot and she can’t regnerate so the doctor gives her a regeneration where then river regenerates into the 1st doctor the doctor relises that river song is a past doctor so he takes her back to gallifrey to live on as the doctor

please reply and tell me what you think

I would also want a series of Past Doctor books from BBC Books.

    April 23rd, 2012 - 7:09pm

Since 23 November 2013 falls on a Saturday, they could have five twenty-five minute episodes as a linked story leading up to a massive blockbuster movie on the Saturday. They should have all of the episodes (especially the one on 23rd November) shown on big screens in cities with two stories broadcast on BBC 3 afterwards with one for each doctor. Of course, their NEEDS to be a convention with classic series actors, writers and directors as well.
I would like Big Finish to get involved too, with a three / four disc storie with Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann.

I think a Sarah Jane deluxe boxset wouldn’t go a miss.

  • The Master

    April 23rd, 2012 - 6:52pm

I would like to see for the 50th Anniversary is…
    Peter Davison (5th Doctor)
    Sylvester McCoy (7th Doctor)
    David Tennant (10th Doctor)
    John Simm (The Master)
    Kate O’Mara (The Rani)
    Omega
    Daleks/Davros
    Ice Warriors

oh yea, and maybey only bring back 1 or 2 doctors, because it worked with the 3 doctors and the 5 doctors but now there are way to many and they would NOT pull it of. oooooooor… the doctors history could be being send backwards and he is changing back through regenarations (still in matt smith clothes though) but he stops it. The scene would only be a cameo because it is ment to be a matt smith ep still.

I would like a box set containing famous storys from each doctor, such as un unearthly child for the first doctor, then mayby the war games and so on. I also think they should release 11 figure sets, one for each doctor. Each would contain one doctor, a companion and a monster! They should do classic episodes on bbc2 to lead up to the special/s. For the story I would love for sgt benton to come back as a “stand in brigadier” as when I met him at a convention he said he would love to get back in for 50th annivercary! I think the story should have something that could edit the events of the first episode and put the doctors entire history at risk! and yes, they need to shouw the 8th regeneration!

i want a nicely done episode (extra long though) saying goodbye to river and the 11th doc, and bringing the 12th doctor. The episode should be simple, not this bring all companions back and all the doctors etc. Maybe just for the fans have cameos by 8th and 10th, so we see how mcgann regenerates and the 10th doing something at the end to help. the plot should be simple not bringing timelords back and big wars with lots of aliens. just a neatly done episode that will bring comedy, drama, and a tear to your eye. I know people will disagree, but this is my opinion others will be different!

Does anyone have any ideas for a better ending?

  • the TARDIS

    April 23rd, 2012 - 6:33pm

    How about this…
There is some massive threat to time, there could be a weapon capable of tearing time apart, bringing old companions and enemies back (as well as the Time Lords) which the Master, the Rani, Morbius and Omega (or any renegade Time Lords) are all searching through space and time to find it. The Time Lords return. Given the nature of the threat to time, they delve into the Doctor’s mind, using time traces of his memories of his earlier regenerations to produce clones of them explaining why they all look different as they get older, and in three cases probably played by entirely different actors as the memories are so weak.
The Various Doctors and companions all travel to various different time zones trying to stop the renegades geting their hands on the weapon with loads of different monsters slowing them down. Following a trail of clues (or something along those lines), they all converge in a universe outside of time where everything reaches a climax. Possibly the renegade Time Lords all fight against each other and destroy the weapon.
I only suggest the clones as continuity wise, it doesn’t make sense if past doctors see their future and they regenerate they are surprised to see their new body.

A decent series without dull continuity without the dull over plotted confused continuity of the past 2 years would do me.

    April 23rd, 2012 - 5:18pm

how about if the doctor got sent back in time to 1963 and the only way to get back to the present is to team up with the 1st doctor and use the tardis to find all the other doctors (no tardis is powerful enough to get back to the present). on the way they have to defeat monsters from doctor whos 50 years history. once there is all 11 doctors and all 11 tardis they combine all the time travel power to send the doctor back. then the 11th doctor regenerates into the 12th doctor, being witnessed by the other doctors. then another 11th doctor comes so there is all 12 doctors and they all celebrate. This could be a feature lengh movie in 3D!
