December 17th, 2012 - 8:34amWell clearly we are not going to ever hear the Doctor describe an enemy like the Sontarans as outer space potato dwarfs, so I’m gonna assume you made that bit up until I hear it for myself next week when the episode is broadcast, cos Ive never known the Doctor to judge an alien by it’s appearance and start making comments about how it looks, after all, it was the Doctor who once said –
“You can’t always judge from external appearances”
And not forgetting Rani from the Sarah Jane Adventures in ‘Death to the Doctor’ when she said to Sarah –
“Hang on, since when did we start judging by appearances ?”

December 16th, 2012 - 2:05amI just saw a brand new preview clip of this episode on BBC HD just a few minutes ago. It was of the Doctor and strax in a victorian street. it was an extended version of the scene from the first trailer. when strax says a granade.
heres a bit of what i heard
Strax: Permission to intervene?
Doctor: Permission granted.
Strax: i feel your empathy.
Doctor: i dont believe you have a right to go there.
Strax: But listen if this snow is new and alien we should investigate.
Doctor: Yes when i hear about dangerous snow that may be alien i’ll trust that with an outer space patato dwarf.
intrestingly in the background is a shaking carriage with clara inside shouting Doctor.

December 15th, 2012 - 8:43amIn the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine, Dan Starky did say in an interview that people have been saying to him “but hang on, you died ?”, so clearly Strax did die, but it did also say they would reveal in the Christmas special how come Strax is alive.
For all we know, Strax could have erased the mind of another Sontaran, and had his mind transferred into it, and since several Sontaran have been played by Dan already, you’d never know for sure this they are clones. . . . . . . CLONED BAKED POTATO HEADS !!!!! 😀
