The Doctor to Visit Cambridge Science Festival

The popular sixth Doctor Who, Colin Baker will speak at the Cambridge Science Festival this weekend.

Baker is best known for his role at the sixth doctor in the popular TV series, will open the Doctor Who exhibition at Pitt Building, Trumpington Street, Cambridge on Saturday 19th March. He will also be on hand throughout the day to sign official photographs.

The display will feature characters including The Host, a Smiler, a Sycorax and Sec Hybrid, along with sculpture demonstrations by member Ray Phillips. There will also be visits by Clockwork Droids, Judoon, Timelords – not to mention the Daleks and their creator. Not to be missed!

Shelley Bolderson, festivals officer at the Univeirsity, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Colin Baker to the Festival. It is great to have the support of celebrities like Colin whose name boosts interest considerably.We hope to raise a good amount of money for charity also.”

Event Information

The Doctor Who exhibition will take place at Pitt Building, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, CB2 1RP between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Saturday 19 March.

It is part of the Hyde Fundraisers 25th Anniversary celebrations.
