A Town Called Mercy 7.35pm to 8.20pm

Doctor Who – A Town Called Mercy

Saturday 15 September 7.35pm to 8.20pm
The Doctor gets a Stetson (and a gun!), and finds himself the reluctant Sheriff of a Western town under siege by a relentless cyborg, who goes by the name of the Gunslinger.

But who is he and what does he want? The answer seems to lie with the mysterious Kahler-Jex, an alien doctor (yes another one!) whose initial appearance is hiding a dark secret.

Writer – Toby Whithouse

Executive producers – Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner

Producer – Marcus Wilson

Director – Saul Metzstein

it’s gonna be like the god complex, toby whithouse other story, which the darker was darker as well as school reunion which he made and vampires in vencice

toby themes are like the doctor’s mercy

school reunion he mentioned about companions and time lords can have them forever and the doctor becoming a god with krillatanes

vov he said about the doctor saving a race

tgc he mentioned about the faith of amy in the doctor and room 11

atcm, about the mercy of the doctor

lots of it is based around companions and becoming gods, saving whole races.

but in others he turns whole armies around, the silence and he killed them.so these are somethemes

    the doctor’s mercy and faith

    his fame and name

    gods and power

this is part of a big plan for doctor who

Im not a western fan but Im looking forward to see the doctor’s darker side again in ATCM. ATCM I think amy will make the doctor reflect on solomon when he killed him and we know that the doctor is going to try and kill kahler jex cause of the cyborg keeps on terrorising and proberly killing people in the town. Cause amy now that believes he killed someone without no mercy and do the same with jex to save everyone and amy will disagree with hime as seen on the BBC America Trailer. (My Own Theory)

I would sugest some of the first Doctors (1-5) becuase the rest are more of looks than survival, exept for 9-11.

The first three Dalek stories are all avaliable and all fantastic. But if you want something a bit more recent than that, Rememberence of the Daleks is very good.
