Christmas Special The Husbands of River Song

It’s Christmas Day on a remote human colony and the Doctor is hiding from Christmas Carols and Comedy Antlers. But when a crashed spaceship calls upon the Doctor for help, he finds himself recruited into River Song’s squad and hurled into a fast and frantic chase across the galaxy.

King Hydroflax (Greg Davies) is furious, and his giant Robot bodyguard is out of control and coming for them all! Will Nardole (Matt Lucas) survive? And when will River Song work out who the Doctor is?

All will be revealed on a starliner full of galactic super-villains and a destination the Doctor has been avoiding for a very long time.

Ikr. I saw a picture of capaldi and Kingston from the Christmas special and literally, Kingston is just clutching onto the doctor’s back with a look of fear in her face. I’m sozzy, but where are the guns at tho?

In River’s timeline, this continues straight on from Angels in Manhattan.

This episode will apparently takes place after The Angels Take Manhattan and before The Name of the Doctor so River might say she is heading too the Library in this episode so for River I’m guessing it goes The Angels Take Manhatten – Christmas Special 2015 (whatever it’s going to be called) – then The Name of the Doctor as she is dead in that

Apparently it takes place just after The Angels Take Manhattan and before The Name of the Doctor. I Just hope it turns out be a jolly romp and has great interaction between Kingston and Capaldi.

This sounds like it’s going to have a runaway bride sort of feel to it, lots of comedy but without being too ridiculous hope it’s good. Not long to wait now

I’d love to see my all time favorite comedian, Russell Howard, in Doctor Who 😀

In fact, Russ should have been in series 5 back in 2010 as a friend of Rory’s who could have fancied Amy 🙂

I should be good, as Christmas Eps. usually are, but it sounds a bit…. pantomime! Just my opinion but: “Giant Robot Bodyguard” just doesn’t sit well with me!

Sounds like they are headed for the Library and somehow River has left the Library in some form, and thus this is a all new meeting that neither her nor the Doctor remember.

Very under whelmed sorry can’t stand River, hoping it’s not all “Spoiler Hello Sweetie” all over it. I’ll watch for Peter alone.

Have Doctor Who with Simon Pegg as the Doctor, Nick Frost as companion, Bill Bailey as a bit-part, creepy twins appear, supernatural elements, and have it written by Edgar Wright.

It’ll be awesome if Edgar Wright wrote and/or directed an episode of Doctor Who

“when will River work out who the Doctor is?”. So much for her having pictures of ALL his faces.

Greg Davies and Matt Lucas, both very funny and great actors. Interesting how they keep casting comedians, Catherine Tate, Frank Skinner, David Walliams, Rufus Hound, Paul Kaye, and Peter Kay to name but a few of the recent ones.
