Doctor Who Experience London Stay extended
BBC Worldwide is delighted to announce that the critically acclaimed and award-winning Doctor Who Experience will be extending its run at London’s Olympia Two until February 22nd 2012 due to huge public demand. Since opening the Tardis doors in February this year and becoming one of the capital’s premier tourist attractions, over 155,000 excited visitors have had the chance to star in their very own Doctor Who adventure as the Doctor’s companion.
The attraction, which is regularly updated with the latest monsters and artifacts from the show, has been described as ‘the nearest thing to actually being in the TV show itself’ – allowing visitors to join the Doctor on a journey through time and space, encountering some of the best-loved and scariest monsters from the hit international television series.
Current Doctor Who star Matt Smith commented: “I am delighted that the Doctor Who Experience is extending its stay in London. It puts you at the heart of the adventure and the exhibition just gets better and better as more attractions are added.”
This will be the last chance to visit the Experience’s London residence before it moves to its permanent home in Cardiff, Wales next year.

October 26th, 2011 - 6:38amI’d love to go again and this time not be so mesmerised by the TARDIS that I nearly blow all of time and space up(or something like that). It would constantly surprise me though even if my friend told me quite a lot about it(but not everything) I never imagined it would be how it was cause it’s that surprising and mad. If you haven’t already been then go there right now(really now!!).
Also they’ve begun work on the Cardiff one. Better go down there and help them get those weevils out so they don’t accidentally eat a barbie doll or swallow a chicken(really now!!). That was the most bonkers thing I’ve ever written. I’ll just be off then see what I mean by bonkers?
