Tonight sees the press launch of the new series of Doctor Who and BBC news showed a short interview with Matt Smith along with our first Proper look at the new Doctor. There will be much more to follow in the coming days.

I just wish people would quit asking “How does it feel to follow David Tennant?” As much as I love David’s Doctor, he isn’t the ultimate yard stick by which everything should be judged. Even he had to live up to the expectations laid by nine other actors before him. Give Matt some room, people.
And that clip makes me even more eager to see the new season!
