Kidnapped by his oldest foe, the Doctor is forced on an impossible mission – to a place even the Daleks are too terrified to enter… the Asylum. A planetary prison confining the most terrifying and insane of their kind, the Doctor and the Ponds must find an escape route.

But with Amy and Rory’s relationship in meltdown, and an army of mad Daleks closing in, it is up to the Doctor to save their lives, as well as the Pond’s marriage.

Yeah, Davros ain’t dead. Russell T. Davis would never have killed him off back ‘Journey’s End’.

Old prune face obviously escaped via Emergency Temporal Shift the moment the Tardis began to dematerialize out of the Crucible.

Once more, his laughing at us all, somewhere, out there, in the far reaches of space, waiting for revenge once more.

    Davros – the TRUE god of ALL Daleks – WILL-BE-BACK !!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s 50 minutes! It might only be an extra 5 minutes, but that 5 minutes could save us from a flick the switch ending!

I have a horrible feeling that this episode will feel rushed as its only a one-parter

What makes you think the we Daleks on a ship ?, it could be a new Dalek space station orbiting the planet the Doctor, Amy and Rory get sent too, and probably had loads of Dalek ships inside it, rather like the Dalek Crucible space station.

This is based on nothing but it would be quite poetic if the Doctor and Amy had a similar relationship to the Doctor and River, her daughter in that Amy dies in this story and Rory leaves in disgust but the Doctor goes back for her earlier in her timestream and picks them both up again because he can’t accept she’s dead and Rory will never look him in the eye again for letting her die. And then they leave on what they think is a break at the end of Episode 5 but for the Doctor it’s the end because next time he sees them, Amy will die. I don’t think it’ll happen because the Doctor was far too smiley in the ‘Who killed all the Daleks?’ ‘Who do you think?’ shot for Amy to die.

The blown up ones in the trailer are presumably the ones in the Asylum. The Daleks on the ship should, hopefully, get away. Then we won’t have to endure the line “One ship survived” ๐Ÿ˜‰

How can Amy die if she appears in Episode 2? Oh and even Episode 3,4 and 5.

Because the Daleks are the Doctor’s most evil and oldest ever enemy. They are not exactly the best of friends now are they!

Agreed, but in the new issue of the TV Times [25th – 31st August] on the next issue page, it shows the promo of the Doctor holding Amy in his Arms, and says ‘The Time Lord carries Amy on their final adventure together’, so Saturday 1st September 2012 is the date the episode will be broadcast, and the beginning of Series 7 starts, despite the BBC just saying ‘Starts Autumn on BBC1’ or ‘Coming Soon to BBC1’ which Ive noticed a lot of fans are getting mighty fed up hearing and would much prefer the date itself being mentioned by them.
