Clara only seems annoying due to her stress over her dates with Danny and her worry of the danger in Coal Hill school. Otherwise, Clara is a fantastic companion and showed her best in Deep Breath, Listen and Time Heist. If any companion deserved to die like Adric – please hand that to either Rose, Martha or River.

They’ve made the companion the lead character – that’s been true since, y’know, An Unearthly Child. So, maybe think…a bit?

Companions can stand on their own two feet, but take the lead from the Doctor and it has over stepped the line.

The Doctor must remain the lead.

This episode does have a premise which is peaking my curiosity. However like some of u have said i am a bit worried that this episode may be similar to some other doctor who eps that have gone wrong without the doctor. Also, isn’t this the ep where the TARDIS shrinks?

I said its not ‘just” about the doctor anymore , which it isn’t I know exactly what I’m talking about , yes its called doctor who , yes its about the doctor but now a days we learn more about other characters and its good to see the companion stand on there on two feet. Don’t you agree?

Really – have the commenters above actually read what they have written?

Doctor Who not about the Doctor – go and watch another show, as you obviously don’t understand a thing about it.

I agree with PaintingCoder12, The Doctor isn’t the only character in the show and you have to focus on the others just as much. I reckon that this episode is to show how good Clara has become at being her own story. However I do agree that episodes without the Doctor haven’t been great in the past (Love and Monsters for instance)

Doctor who isn’t just about the doctor anymore , its nice to see the development of other characters and see them take it on them selves, I think its a really cool thing

Yet another episode where the Doctor barely features. Fed up with this – the character of Clara needs to be killed off before we all forget it is DOCTOR Who.

Clara is sooooooooooooooo boring and taking the programme down with her.

I really like the new Doctor, but he cannot….. will not develop with such an over bearing character as Clara. This synopsis for the episode is the last thing I wanted to hear. I was hoping for the season to get better – but instead we have more ‘Eastenders-like’ nonsense from Clara and Danny.

I like the use of the word ‘perception’ in a Doctor Who episode…
    Particularly in the 250th Story!

Exciting Stuff. However, it reminds me of an episode of Sherlock…
