    I don’t believe it is that, the weather was getting better over that period and the total viewing audience may have been less across all channels. And the fact that a TV trailer was rare and the mix up of times which will have confused many viewers.

    Sad to see the ratings getting smaller with each passing week. True its up against BGT in certain time slots BUT it perhaps is more a reflection of the public having its say on weak scripts / stories and poor overacting. The worrying thing is its starting to resemble the shambolic decline of the 80s Doctor Who. We need change and we need it sooner rather than later (and I’m not just talking a different Doctor).

    overnights huh,but overall the bulk up to a respectable figure,we need not panic and ignore stupid sun newspapers story about ratings!

    Such a shame that this fantastic episode will have the lowest of the season (so far) hardly surprising though as no publicity trails this week and time slot moved again ( the third time in four weeks) and put against BGT. The inconsistent scheduling suggests the BBC don’t seem to care about the show.

    Very low. It’s nearly dipping below five and no matter what the final figure will be, that’s bad.
