April 26th, 2013 - 8:16pmActually, I think just the opposite. I think The Rings of Akhaten is one of the strongest episode during this half of the season, and Hide is the weakest. Still, you make a fair point. Let’s hope for the best, but not get our hopes up too much.

Then again, maybe these are creatures created during the Time War, such as the Nightmare Child, the Couldhavebeen King with his army of meanwhiles and neverwhere, something like that, and perhaps these creatures found their way into the Tardis during the war, only the Doctor just did not know about it until tomorrow episode [course, House from ‘The Doctors Wife’ surely would have been aware of them].
