Neil Patrick Harris Joins Doctor Who

Emmy and Tony-winning actor and comedian Neil Patrick Harris joins the cast of Doctor Who

Neil Patrick Harris, American star of stage and screen, has joined the cast of Doctor Who and is currently filming scenes set to air in 2023 as part of the show’s 60th anniversary.

Russell T Davies, Showrunner said “It’s my huge honour to open our studio doors for the mighty Neil Patrick Harris… but who, why, what is he playing? You’ll just have to wait. But I promise you, the stuff we’re shooting now is off the scale. Doctor beware!”

    A truly timeless (0ddisey) All these many years I have watched Dr WHO
    Still entertaining, thought provoking,enspireing, and mostly addictive.
    This showpiece has persevered hem lines, wars, and mankind in general

    Have to admit I’m not excited about tennants return at all. Just seems pointless to me.

    Then I hope they get him to wear the original costume, if only just the once. Looking back to the 1966 “Celestial Toymaker”, they did establish that he could do things to Time Lords that most other villains couldn’t. Like make them invisible and vanish for most of the story. And, if John Wiles had had his way, return looking like somebody else…….or a Doctor you might not be expecting, like an older model. Just like we’re getting.
