News On Doctor Who Spin off “Class” Next Week
According to Patrick Ness on twitter announcements will be made on the brand new Doctor Who Spin off “Class” next week.
Class is a YA series set in contemporary London. Incredible dangers are breaking through the walls of time and space, and with darkness coming, London is unprotected. With all the action, heart and adrenalin of the best YA fiction (Buffy, Hunger Games), this is Coal Hill School and Doctor Who like you’ve never seen it before.

June 21st, 2016 - 3:57pmWhat’s over? DW has been delayed by excessive sport (yawn). That’s the last BBC excuse I saw anyway. Drama queen much. Christmas episode, a mere 6 months now, & then maybe April(ish) like the old new Who for the new DW series. Watch Class or don’t, then watch DW (or not).

June 21st, 2016 - 2:39pmIm personally heartbroken, havent been caught up, met clara and river song the other day, i could have said bye. Tourchwood was good but never as good. Dont think this one will fill the void, wonder, or the doctors multiple personalities mixed with the strong bond of an ever changing companion. The imagination and recurring faces that all bring something differrent to it. Its over man. Dont know why they couldnt just start a new doctor who series like they did last time. Theres going to be alot of outrage. Not saying new spin off will be bad but will never be considered a replacement, or make people forget its over. I will give class a try but not happy for the trade out

April 3rd, 2016 - 5:42pmMoffat said he would write a spin off for the Paternoster Gang (Strax, Vastra and Jenny) but he had no time…I wonder did he not want to bother then.
Also most spin offs start life in the main show, eg School Reunion re-introduced Sarah and K9, then going back many years Dallas had a spin off Knots Landing that was introduced in Dallas, Dynasty gave us the Colbys. I find it strange they didn’t introduce some of the characters in series 9.

At least that way it involves a character from the Whoniverse.
