March 26th, 2016 - 1:00amI really hope it has the classic K-9 and since Omega is in it casting Peter Davison would be super cool. Since the title is Time Quake there is no reason we can’t see past doctor Cameos. Wonder if we will see Gallifray and Romana…

March 23rd, 2016 - 12:23pmCan’t wait for this!! I do have some questions. Can anyone help me?
1. Will this be canon to the Doctor Who TV series?
2. Will the BBC be behind the UK studio work?
3. Will this continue from where the K9 TV series left off, or completely reboot it?
4. Will the K9 in the film be a redesign of an existing K9 (like the TV series) or a brand new K9, like a K9 Mk 5?

January 16th, 2016 - 7:03pmOh dear ! despite the notion that we’re all supposed to be waiting with baited breath about this, it simply boils down to one thing : an unmitigated disaster of thinking and execution. (ok, that’s technically two, lol) There is simply no way that “Timequake” is going to work. We’ll be waiting for The Doctor to appear somewhere or desperately listening for a mention of him; one snippet of dialogue referring to him is scarcely enough to warrant it’s production at all. I can only shake my head in despair that anyone gave the idea any credence at all.

November 1st, 2015 - 11:51amOh God looking at that poster is like some kind of terrible, surreal dream. Never in a million years could I imagine that a movie with K9 would hit the big screen. I sort of admire the ambition I guess, but it’s just such a weird concept – K9 versus Omega is like some kind of fan fiction on a forum, great for hardcore fans but no way could it be enjoyed properly by the mainstream. I’m sorry but how can this possibly hope to compete against franchises like Star Wars The Force Awakens and Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s a whole different league. I have so many questions, it just feels like some kind of April Fools prank. What kind of budget is it getting? After his Australian produced pre-teen adventure series crashed and burned, how could they justify a blockbuster movie? We’re not talking Firefly being made into Serenity here people. There was no stellar writing/directing/acting in the K9 series, unlike Firefly, which fully deserved it’s movie… whatever, I imagine it will never enter proper production and at best be released direct to DVD. I’ll stop ranting now, but you get the picture, I just feel very pessimistic about this whole idea!

October 29th, 2015 - 7:42pmIt’s all to do with whether they were working for the BBC or were outside people hired to work on the show. Terry Nation created the Daleks for their TV appearance but they were still his creations and therefore could be used outside of the realms of the BBC show. However, Ray Cusick, the designer, was a BBC employee and so all his work on the show was owned by the BBC. Shame the greatest award he got for his work on the Daleks was a gold Blue Peter badge!

October 27th, 2015 - 7:24amActually, if you read the K9Official facebook page, and read what Bob Baker and Paul Tams say, you will find the K9 in the K9 tv series and this movie is K9 Mark One – the one built by Marius and left on Gallifrey with Leela. Whilst on Gallifrey he was updated with Gallifreyan technology and equipped with a regeneration device incase anything happend to him whilst on Time Lord missions.
