Series 10 Episode 3 Thin Ice 7.20pm Saturday 29th April
Written by Sarah Dollard and directed by Bill Anderson.
In Regency England, beneath the frozen Thames, something is stirring.
The Doctor and Bill arrive at the last of the great frost fairs, and find themselves investigating a string of impossible disappearances – people have been vanishing on the ice! Bill is about to discover that the past is more like her world than she expected, and that not all monsters come from outer space…
The Doctor is played by Peter Capaldi, Bill by Pearl Mackie and Nardole by Matt Lucas.

April 29th, 2017 - 9:56amNo it’s not that one yet. The Ice Warriors and the Empress appear in episode 9 ‘The Empress of Mars’ by Mark Gatiss. Although it could be easy to confuse ‘Thin Ice’ with the ‘Big Finish’ audio adventure, which DID feature the Ice Warriors…but no Empress.

April 23rd, 2017 - 12:18pmWe’ve had broadcast episodes reuse titles in the past, never mind expanding it to other media. There’s going to be a finite combination of words you can put together, eventually overlap happens.

April 23rd, 2017 - 9:34amYeah, Continuity is needed.

April 22nd, 2017 - 11:23pmI wish they could have chosen a different title than ‘Thin Ice’. It’s exactly the same title as a Big Finish ‘The Lost Stories’ audio, starring Sylvester McCoy. I sometimes wish Ian Levine was kept on as continuity advisor… :-\
