Final viewing figures show that Matt Smith’s 2nd episode, The Beast Below was watched by 8.4m million viewers (including HD).This again is a large increase on the overnight viewing figures.
The programme was watched by 7.928 million viewers on BBC1 and 0.494 million viewers on the BBC HD channel.
Overnight figures were 6.4m on BBC1 with an additional 0.33M on BBC HD.
