The Ponds Time-line / Title Colour Variations

We have added a handy at glance “The Ponds-Time line” feature where you can see Amy and Rory’s memorable moments and adventures with the Doctor.

The image below also shows how the colours and titles altered over the 5 series 7a episodes (with a series 6 comparison on the left).

i didn’t really like how the time vortex changed colour, but i liked how the title had a different pattern to match the episode

I think it was a bit… dim of them to change the title sequence for every episode. It’s not as if the time vortex changes colour just because the Doctor’s caught up in movie-like adventures!

They were written by the same person, so he could’ve known… either a plot hole, or the Shakri don’t think a tiny village with one family is worth their cubes…

Thanks, actually I did this in school yesterday and we are starting to make websites using HTML, but I do t really know how to use it, I’ll have to just play around!

One thing, what did you do to get the text to appear over the picture when your mouse is over it? (if it’s too complicated to explain or you can’t, then it doesn’t matter)

maybe make a universal timeline like 1969,2012,1996.

That’s rather interesting, my Sister was born a year later.

Glad you all like it and thanks for the positive comments about the timeline but there’s nothing clever about it really, It was custom made using HTML same as the rest of the site

No you can’t, as you would have to know either what year they were sent to or what year they died, which we don’t! Although I would be interested to find out what year they wee sent to!

Booboo, do you know what is used to make it, as in school I have to make a gallery to go on a website, and would love to do something like this!
Also can you post a picture of next weeks DW adventures, as what is the cover like?

the first time the doctor met amy was the exact time i was born April 3rd 1996 and the time on the clock when she is waiting is around the time that I was born haha

  • Dalek Prime Minister

    September 30th, 2012 - 7:49pm

Booboo, what did you use to make this timeline thing? And how did you do it as I really like it!

  • Dalek Prime Minister

    September 30th, 2012 - 7:46pm

How do you Know when Rory was born?
Also in TATM the doctor mentioned 2012 and something about them in 2012 so they are not in 2020 in TATM!

    September 30th, 2012 - 7:04pm

Also Rory says he is 31 years old and if he is the same age as Rory (born 1989) then it is obviously set in 2020

  • iPhil

    September 30th, 2012 - 5:35pm

because Amy and Rory started travelling with the Doctor in 2010, and in The Power of Three, she said they think they have been travelling about 10 years with the doctor, so that would make the end of the is series set in 2020.

  • Mr Evil Fez

    September 30th, 2012 - 11:56am

Booboo, there’s a mistake on The Ponds timeline! It says that Amy says “Im not a Taxi service you know!” in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, but the Doctor says it!

  • RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
