Sarah Jane Adventures cbbc Autumn Trailer

The Sarah Jane Adventures cbbc Autumn Trailer

A brief Autumn trailer has started to air on cbbc and includes several clips from the new series of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Six series 5 episodes (3 Full stories) were filmed at the same time as series 4 last year, long before Elisabeth Sladen sadly died. The rest of the series was due to be filmed early in 2011.

Intrepid investigative journalist Sarah Jane Smith and her gang of young sidekicks are back as the final six episodes of the hugely successful The Sarah Jane Adventures air on CBBC this Autumn. In the first adventure Sarah Jane discovers a mystery baby on her doorstep. But with explosions, power surges and reports of a Metal man falling from the sky, Sarah Jane is convinced that there’s more to the baby than there first seemed.

Created by Russell T Davies, The Sarah Jane Adventures is made by BBC Cymru Wales and has been a huge hit since its debut on CBBC in 2007. These final episodes were filmed before the untimely death of actress Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane, earlier this year.

I just wanted to say that’s a lovely thing to say and I’m on the verge of tears after reading it. I’m 14 and I still love ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’. I have collected DVDs, books and audiobooks from the SJA series and it makes me soo sad when I listen to Elisabeth Sladens voice. ‘Death to the Doctor’ grabbed the highest viewing figures in CBBC history, the series ended when it was at its most popular stage. I will fight to beat cancer, I have lost soo many people to it including my granny. Please help beat cancer. Goodbye Lis, xx

The last 3 stories are on IMDB so I would imagine the cast is there as well.

It will be sad to watch The sarah jane adventures when it returns on cbbc. Elisabeth Sladen played the role of Sarah Jane Smith brillantly. It’s sad knowing that after this series that no more will be done due to the sudden death of Elisabeth. R.I.P Elisabeth but You and Sarah Jane will still be alive in our hearts. Gone to early, Gone but never forgotten xx
