Last Goth Standing
November 1st, 2014 - 9:50pm….Michelle Gomez play the part… Pointless bastard spellcheck!!!
Last Goth Standing
November 1st, 2014 - 9:49pmOk, it makes sense; Missy > Mistress > Master and just as much sense to have Michelle Gomez okay the part. An excellent build up, with upgraded Cybermen, so don’t screw it up and turn it into an episode of Hollyoaks. Writers are only as good as the Las thing they wrote and “Blink” was a long time ago now. Let there be madness, let there be chaos, let there be The Doctor and his enemies. Let it be fabulous!!!

November 1st, 2014 - 9:46pmI’ll stick with the Roger Delgado version of the Master. He was always (and always will be) the definitive and best in my opinion. Each time the Master (or Missy) comes back recast, we get lesser returns.
the astronaut of death
November 1st, 2014 - 9:44pmbooboo what did you think of the master revel
happy or unhappy
The Temporal Jelly Baby
November 1st, 2014 - 9:43pmIt’s also the shape of the Cybus Industries logo.

November 1st, 2014 - 9:42pmMoffat has had his day in my opinion. The Cybermen walking down the steps of St Pauls is redone and Missy being the Master is Doctor Who’s ‘Jump the shark’ moment.
booboo
November 1st, 2014 - 9:42pmthink that part of the overall ploy rather than any reality
Jake
November 1st, 2014 - 9:41pmThe cybermen eyes are that shape so I presume it’s that
The Temporal Jelly Baby
November 1st, 2014 - 9:41pmI hope so too.

November 1st, 2014 - 9:40pmI don’t think Missy should be the Master it just doesn’t sound right. He’s not the Master anymore…She’s Missy. I mean Missy is a great character but I don’t think her being the Master is right…John Simm was fantastic…they should have kept him. Overall though good episode 🙂
Hoohoos
November 1st, 2014 - 9:40pmLoved this episode, glad to see the master is back, a question, does anyone know what the symbol on the walls mean, the larger and small connected circles? Please let me know, nothing seems to show up for no reason.

November 1st, 2014 - 9:40pmOh.My.God. THE MASTER IS BACK! AS A WOMAN…lol. This was in my opinion a great episode and a great set-up for what will happen in the finale next week! I loved how Seb’s reappearance was handled, Danny’s situation in the Promised Land with him deleting himself to prevent Clara from dying to save him was brilliant, and I nearly died from shock and surprise when Missy was revealed as the Master! While,I didn’t expect that,I knew as soon as Dr Chang explained about the skeletons in exo-skeletons thing that the skeletons were really Cybermen but it still got me rushing with excitement! I am so hyped for next week’s final episode and although it’s a shame it will be the end, this series will definitely be one to remember for me so let’s hope it goes out with a bang!
the astronaut of death
November 1st, 2014 - 9:39pmdid anyone else find it disturbing when it was revealed you feel everything that happens to your body after death
Jake
November 1st, 2014 - 9:38pmExactly what I thought…but I screamed it at the TV too

November 1st, 2014 - 9:36pmI enjoyed the first 15 minutes, but as it went on I’m sorry to say I didn’t find much to enjoy at all. I felt the overall premise was in quite poor taste, especially to anyone that has lost loved ones recently. The subject matter was very controversial. No doubt part 2 will rectify, clarify and answer what’s still unanswered. Plus why oh why did Moffat feel the need to make the Master female. We already have a well established female time lord in the form of the Rani…why not bring her back regenerated instead! Overall I found this episode (which started very well) to be my least favourite of the entire 8th series. I don’t hold out much hope of part 2 being much better.
morlu
November 1st, 2014 - 9:36pmThought it would have been a better reveal if we never saw the cybermen in the trailer last week. Love that the logo for 3W wa the cybers eyes. Brilliant. Loved Michelle Gomez, kinda wished she was the Rani rather than the Master but maybe that will grow on me.
the astronaut of death
November 1st, 2014 - 9:32pmI don’t know about you guys but I felt Clara was being a bit of a…. cow
Daleks101
November 1st, 2014 - 9:31pmThat would be good. I wonder how the master has regenerated long after he has used all his lives and he/she is still going.
the astronaut of death
November 1st, 2014 - 9:31pmI hope they don’t get rid of the master again at the end of next weeks episode I hope the master sticks around for a while now.
the astronaut of death
November 1st, 2014 - 9:30pmso st Pauls cathedral is …

November 1st, 2014 - 9:29pmLol I agree with the “Moffat lies” comment.
the astronaut of death
November 1st, 2014 - 9:28pmI am so happy this story is a two parter
it would be very upsetting if a story like this was rushed

November 1st, 2014 - 9:28pmSo the master is a woman and he/she has just snogged the doctor. Lol
I thought it was the Rani. Doh!
Liked the references to the tombs and the invasion.
Gallifrey Will Rise Again
November 1st, 2014 - 9:28pmWonder if we’ll see a flashback scene with john simm regenerating into michelle gomez? hope so but i seriously doubt it.

November 1st, 2014 - 9:27pmShould have known to put something in plain sight and expect people to look further in the wrong directions; talk about keeping you on your toes. I actually love the idea of her being The Master. New horizons are open.

November 1st, 2014 - 9:27pmAnd “WHOOPEE”, for Clara’s Nan is back!

November 1st, 2014 - 9:25pmI honestly thought she was Romana for a second, with the “Left me for dead” line I just thought to the time war and war doctor, and it seemed like a choice he may of had to make!
