The idea was that Robin was real and would become a myth, and that the Doctor who is also a fictions character is played as real within the series and has his own mythical qualities.
    I think!

I’ve been watching dr who since the mid 70s as a young child. LOVE Tom Baker never thought anyone could replace him. These young guys have done a good job since 2005, but the doctor is 2000 yrs old and we do need a more mature man. I think Peter is doing a great job and if people do not like him then STOP WATCHING……

I agree.as most Dr. fans know there is a period of time it takes for us to adjust to the doctor and actor to find his niche in the doctor, but geeez point being look ahead and be thankful for the past….

I love the new TARDIS, but I so agree..the new opening is a down grade…and I much prefer the previous years. As usual have to fix what is not broken….

watched dr who since it started in 1963 i like peter capaldi ..a dark tom baker.. but not sure about the storylines they seem a little contrived .. the stories in the past have been him sorting out a situation he found himself in not inventing situations (ok maybe the first one) …the dramas there but not the action ..not sure about the opening graphics either maybe their trying to bring it up to date but personally i prefer the old ones

I thought he’d want to do the 50th, but maybe he’s “i want my era to be that chunk” thing, which is the same as karen wanted with amy.
I do thing steven’s stories got a bit ludicrous and out of hand, like the whole river thing i got bored with.
series 5 was fantastic and his best series, that ,to me, trumps series 1 of who.
i am an rtd fan, the simplicity of the story lines still made the episode good, and his story arcs were short and kept you hooked
not that steven’s doesn’t, but he just crams to much

I’m sure they get on, I’ve read her interviews online and she is positive about Capaldi
    I think he is great

well I was rather negative on this episode but I love the series 2

just because people dislike 1 episode it does not mean they need to stop watching the whole series

To all you “fans” with your negative comments, shouldnt really say it but just switch over if you dislike the series that much, it would be better for us all should you do as nobody is forcing you to watch it

To be honest I’ve really enjoyed the first three episodes of this series, I think they’ve been some of the best in new who.
I also would like to say, no offence (which means the opposite) anyone who still watches the X factor must be brain dead, I laughed when they put they’re tenth anniversary episode on the same day as the fifthtieth of doctor who, and they got utterly destroyed

I have to agree. My ten year old daughter and I watch Dr. Who and she said this was her favorite episode EVER. She does not like the 12th doctor as well as she liked the 10th doctor or even the 11th doctor. But I think he is going to bring a little more “darkness” into the series and I think that is fabulous.

Jenna Coleman is carrying this series so far. Capaldi is a clown in this role, worst doctor ever.
