Matt. Please stop. How can the time lords and humans share common ancestry? Also, one of the best aspects of this show is that it decentres us humans, makes us specks of dust in the universe. Don’t overplay our part.

Just watched ‘Time Of The Doctor’ on DVD, wish I hadn’t as its just reminded of me of how much better previous doctors were. Still, I’m still somewhat excited about the last 2 episodes, hopefully they’ll be good ones.

Glad you liked the idea – how it should of been written.

    To extrapolate on it further,

The Dr realizes that the sentinel is ancient gallifreyan technology. (scares him a little and he has respect for it) Which implies that the time lords and humans may have had a common ancient ancestor and that it why the Dr is obligated to save Earth. The Earth is more important than you could possibly think in ending the time wars and reinstating Gallifrey back into normal time/space with this gallifreyan technology.

You see, it is not hard to spin a good story. To make it exciting, without compromising the story arc of missy ,heaven and or previous whos.
