August 19th, 2011 - 10:06pmYet again another poor episode. No sci=fi, no aliens . Saw very little of Jack. Although there was a few good funny moments. The clip for next weeks episode does look interesting with the wee beastie with the teeth. 🙂

August 19th, 2011 - 11:33amTorchwood has changed a lot. Personally I preferred the first two seasons, with different stories, but Miracle Day has really made it much different, more gore, more mysterious, but less funny. Well, less funny than it was.
All in all, quite good. 9/10

…and for those of you hoping/thinking there is a DW connection with the Alien…there wont be…why would RTD harp back to a show he left. Whatever is causing Miracle Day will be something new.

August 14th, 2011 - 2:49pmFor me Torchwood ended after Children of Earth. This is a different show. A half-decent different show, but not the one I tuned in to watch. All humour has been replaced by violence, drama by gore. Miracle day is an interesting idea, but the writers who had a chance to make it an interesting series have completely blow it. Colin sticking a pen in Rex is a horrible thing to watch, never mind to write. John Shiban (who wrote the Escape to LA scene where Nicholas Frumkin had his eye popped out and his hand chopped off) has a very strange mind. YUK.
