This is an edited version with spell check of what I wanted to say lol……..

Amazing attempt at bringing three seasons together but could have been done better, love all the past references, made you feel like a proper fan, but I hated that Matt became old, became not my doctor, not the doctor I wanted to say goodbye to, but glad he became young again to say goodbye to, and so great to see Amy pond again, would love it if peter capaldi had had the last ten minutes to destroy everyone, would have given everyone chance to see how he was going to be given what is bound to be an incredibly long gap!!!! Regarding peter capaldi, I am so excited, never seen his work before but since his announcement I have watched the thick of it and saw the show where he was announced and gave an amazing speech about how dr who belonged to the fans. I have one thing to say about peter capaldi…. Matt smith was an amazing doctor, but he chose to leave, so do you know what could have happened…. Dr who could have been cancelled, but do you know what, the producers of the show that everyone in there millions have watched have decided that peter capaldi is the best one to take the show forward, and I am so excited… He’s given 30 seconds and five lines so far and already I’m excited and intrigued, not disappointed just annoyed it will take so long to see him, but do you know what I was disappointed at every single regeneration, but every single one has proven me so wrong, and look what happened the last time a fan played the part (David Tennant) he became one of the best ever!!!! So let’s love the show rather than look for reasons to hate it! Cos I wish I could say I had been the doctor……

Two things: 1) If that was his last body, why did he start regenerating in “The Impossible Astronaut”? 2) If he didn’t die on Trenzalore, then why was the TARDIS and his ‘grave’ there in “The name of the Doctor”? Afterall, if he didnt die, there’d be no grave… So Clara would never have gone through time and saved him, meaning the Doctor wouldn’t have met her in the Asylum to begin with!

Anonymous: ‘War’ Doctor is his number, he doesn’t have a number as such, it goes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,War,9,10,11,12 if you know what I mean? That is the labelling system:)

I think that no-one should be prioritised, Doctor Who is for everyone, but how can you say that the change is a bad idea? Doctor Who would have been cancelled long ago, from the moment the First Doctor shut Susan out of the TARDIS in The Daleks’ Invasion of Earth: Flashpoint, if change was a bad idea! What a stupid thought, that change is a bad idea.

I think it should cater to the fans no matter where they happen to live in Brittan, America, or in outer space!

He was the only one. Moffat chose him straight away.

Should cater to the Brits NOT the Americans.

Doctor Who is British. Not American. The Americans may watch the show now but Doctor Who is always British and should cater to the Brits the Americans.

    So there…

Just my opinion but PLEASE PLEASE I hope the americans don’t become the “target market” and influence the style and storyline.

Would turn me right off a fifty year following….

What is wrong with you people the regeneration orange/gold glow is what killed the Daleks it did not happen in a quick flash it was a slow process which took time for him to get down to the tardis and he had time to remember Amy Pond and then he changed it was not in quick at all.

    December 26th, 2013 - 8:43pm

I was very very very very very very dissopointed to find that the fear in the doctor’s room was just the crack in time

  • The Moffat Paradox

    December 26th, 2013 - 8:41pm

    GUFFAWW!! LOL.

Spawned 5 TV series,an animated series, books, games,oh and 12 big budget movies making BILLIONS of Dollars worldwide. As well as a large American and international fan base to boot.So as far as Doctor Who being bigger is concerned you couldn’t be further from reality.

If I didn`t also like Doctor Who (Patrick Stewart,Captain Picard,is also on record as a fan) I would neither watch it or comment here.

But arguments aside about which is better as far as which is bigger as Star Trek’s Borg would say:

    “Resistance is futile”!!

  • Scott’s TARDIS

    December 26th, 2013 - 7:35pm

He’s just a bit mental like Matt was with his ‘Still got legs’ thing back in 2010 and when David was with his ‘New Teeth. That’s wierd’ back in 2005. Give a Steven a chance with his new Doctor! I think Capaldis Doctor will be excellent.

I hope it isn’t going to be too long until we see Capaldi in a full episode.
