Those black and white scenes look like the horror scenes from the Hartnell episode the chase, which coincidently involved the Daleks with their own time machine, which the Doctor must use in order to go back in time and stop Davros as a child. Just a theory.

In one scene the doctors hand appears to glow brightly, to me it looks as though he may use a regeneration trick to change Davros and or the daleks..?

I don’t know why that posted as anonymous (because A is much more informative).

Although I was horrified by the implication of the Doctor killing a child, I had considered the eye mines might be the target. He could be attempting more humour with reference to future events.
I totally agree with your point, Lily, about the Tardis. Someone even suggested the Doctor could steal & redesign Missy’s Tardis to match his own! A Tardis is not just a machine, she’s a living being encased in a form which can exist alongside her pilot(s). Simply changing vehicle would disrespect the Doctor’s Tardis & possibly upset Missy’s (you never know, maybe her Tardis shares her mad goals & ambitions). Just because the Master was prepared to enslave the Doctor’s Tardis to create a paradox machine does not mean the Doctor would steal an unwilling Tardis to create a hollow copy of his most consistant companion. I don’t think the Doctor’s Tardis can be dead. 4th Doctor did use a transmat though…

And I think those stairs are the same as the ones used as The Royal Collection in The Pandorica Opens. Probably just a reuse of location mind.

ALL PRAISE DAVROS !! ALL PRAISE DAVROS !! ALL PRAISE DAVROS !!
ALL PRAISE DAVROS !! ALL PRAISE DAVROS !! ALL PRAISE DAVROS !!

Hope Davros finally does become the one true leader of the Daleks. He did create them after all, and he is the one true god of all Daleks as well, [not you, Emperor Dalek of 2005 😛 ], and if Davros does stay as leader of the Daleks by the time ‘The Witch’s Familar’ is over, then well done Davros, bout time they recognized you as their one true leader !! 😀

“I created the Daleks, it is I who shall guide their destiny . . I am the supreme Commander !!”

Yeah we know the Doctor wears a ring now, has done since last year. In fact, the reason why Peter Capaldi’s Doctor wears a ring is because he refused to take his wedding ring off for filming, so a special ring was made with a jewel on it which Peter can wear on the same finger he wears his wedding ring on, so your actually looking at two rings, but it looks like one.

Past Doctor’s to wear rings was the first 3 Doctors.

Whatever they are, I have sneaking suspicion that the X Factor did beat it. However, the next episode is up against rugby it may fair better. However, let’s see if the BBC are brave enough to shift it’s precious “Stictly” to another time and let Doctor Who start the night

I don’t believe the ratings are as low as they say. 4:6 million???? There’s no way the fix factor beat the doctor!

that’s a very good theory, here is mine: I think that because in the first scene of the episode, when the young Davros tells the Doctor his name, the doctor does not help, because it seems like he doesn’t, but in the last scene, you see him time travel back to the weird hand moment and he says ‘Exterminate’. he could either be A) killing davros, or B) killing the weird hand-eye things. And another theory of mine (Just putting it out there) is that Missy couldn’t be killed because she still has a lot to do, the doctor is going to save Clara, because they are besties, and the TARDIS doesn’t explode, because doctor who, wouldn’t be doctor who without the tardis. another thing is, missy and Clara both died too quickly, if you look at the other companions deaths, they were all emotional and heart-to-heart, not at all like their death. The TARDIS needs to be there because he is a time lord, he doesn’t like the hand held time travel and I know that this series isn’t the last of doctor who (they’re going to come up with as many excuses to keep it going as possible). I don’t think that the daleks are going to die or become extinct or something, because they are the Doctors greatest nemesis and they are the villains that make doctor who so famous, so they can’t get rid of them. davros, I think, will die though. (if any of you are wondering how he is still alive after he ‘died’ in the 10th Doctors series, either no-one saw him die, and therefore he could have lived, or the Doctor time travelled to the point before that.) Davros IS going to die at some point, because they have just been putting off his death for so many years now, it needs to happen. the doctor who series isn’t predictable so I could have it wrong, but some of its just math, logic, and common sense.

In the next time trailer there’s a scene where the doctor is on a flight of stairs and he puts his hands up in the air and there’s some weird blobs that appear but if you look closely they look like soldiers holding guns up to the doctor I wonder what that’s about?

  • The Moffat Paradox

    September 21st, 2015 - 10:18pm

(Before I start haven’t read this anywhere else so it’s my conjecture.)

Haven’t heard/ read I Davros but think in series canon there doing it as being there was nothing particularly evil about Davros in his youth; he BECOMES mad/evil through events/circumstances in the context of the Kaled/Thal war which leads to his creating the Daleks.

I think to his horror the Doctor realises he has been caught in a temporal paradox;in leaving boy Davros to the hand mines with sonic screwdriver left behind Davros was able to use it to escape and as a future scienist to perhaps reverse engineer it to give him technological insights that also lead to the creation of the Daleks. So in not helping boy Davros the Doctor is also part responsible for THE CREATION OF THE DALEKS!!!No wonder he hasn’t wanted a replacement screwdriver!

I think this is also about about a supposedly dying Davros getting the Daleks to recognise the Doctor as their new Lord because he’s had a part in their creation all along.

And then he appears to be going back to boy Davros with a Dalek gun (Though Tardis is supposed to be “destroyed”) this time to kill him and stop it all happening.

Ahh was it ‘all praise Davros’ ? . . . . ah right, couldn’t really tell with Davros talking over the Supreme Dalek and and the music playing over it either which did make it hard to hear the Supreme Dalek speaking.
