A new promotional image for the next series of Doctor Who has been released by the official site and the highly-anticipated trailer will premiere at approximately 6am this morning.
The new image captures something of the excitement and adventure that await the Doctor – and the audience at home – when the Time Lord returns in Asylum of the Daleks. The image is also available as wallpaper.

August 30th, 2012 - 1:17amIt’s not a new black dalek, it’s the blue dalek, which has also been made darker blue and given a metallic coating. I believe all of the Daleks have probably been given this treatment except the supreme.
