January 14th, 2016 - 7:07pmWell, I was there but missed that excitement as I was actually on duty! I was a senior aircraft’s woman & busy looking after visiting pilots & making sure they didn’t die of starvation or thirst – boy were they thirsty! I vaguely remember several officers & staff being involved but we worked an 18hour shift that weekend, so don’t remember much but tiredness!

September 8th, 2013 - 12:45pmI wrote, produced and directed the Dr Who visit to RAF Finningley (Battle of Britain Open Day September 1965) and the subsequent invasion of the Daleks.
William Hartnell played his part as Dr Who.
6 Chipmunk, 4 Hawker Hunters, a Air Sea Helicopter and a Vulcan MkII ”Grand Slam” were invovled.
I would appreciate any information regarding Video/Photos taken on the day.
