Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. But the very next day I REGENERATED INTO AN OLDER LOOKING MAN and you gave it away. hmmmmmmm.

  • yognot

    December 2nd, 2014 - 6:36pm

Why do I get the feeling that the Sleepers and Dream Crabs are just some more lackeys of the Great Intelligence? To quote the Intelligence in ‘The Snowmen’ : ” The dream has outlived the dreamer.”

  • Crisss

    December 1st, 2014 - 10:52pm

I’m very sorry but this doctor don’t have the same real magic of the eleventh. He is irreplaceable.

    • The Werewolf

      December 1st, 2014 - 11:29pm

I disagree, I think that the Eleventh Doctor is highly replaceable, I struggled to see the Eleventh as the Doctor half the time.

    • CJ

      December 2nd, 2014 - 5:29pm

Get over it! The Werewolf is right and anyway, why would he have that same magic as the 11th Doctor? Every Doctor is different.

    • yognot

      December 2nd, 2014 - 6:33pm

Every Doctor is different. The show always gains a new theme or tone with every new Doctor and each one brings a new thing to the show. I’m on the fence about a Doctor being replaceable but Capaldi’s is definitely on the way to being one of my favorites.

    • The Moffat Paradox

      December 2nd, 2014 - 7:07pm

Sorry I thought Matt Smith was quite good but Peter Calpadi is IMO and will come to be increasingly seen as the REAL DEAL.

    • yognot

      December 2nd, 2014 - 8:39pm

Excuse my stupidity but what does IMO stand for? I honestly don’t know.(sorry)

  • Dalek The Supreme

    December 1st, 2014 - 10:27pm

Last Christmas, huh? Yeah, I like that title.

    • yognot

      December 2nd, 2014 - 6:27pm

Please don’t burst out into song….

  • yognot

    December 1st, 2014 - 6:40pm

Has Journey Blue been confirmed to be in this episode or in series 9 or not? Because there are a lot of rumors and theories about her being the next companion and I was wondering if any of it is true or not.

  • doctor3000

    November 30th, 2014 - 3:58pm

the villains are called the sleepers and dream crabs

  • the dalek

    November 30th, 2014 - 12:12am

My comment isn’t related to the episode. I’ve noticed that the user, rycbar, puts comments using his or her own opinion and its like no one wants to know. But when other users put similar comments, no one is being harsh to them. This site is for people to express their own opinions.

Santa may turn out to be the white guardian, an android or omega, with the doctor and clara trapped in an anti matter universe were omega’s will is in control. Or it’s a dream,or it’s santa!

  • yognot

    November 26th, 2014 - 4:06am

And this might be Capaldi’s winter suit… Actually he wore it on time heist as the architect so it may not be a new costume

    • yognot

      November 26th, 2014 - 4:12am

Wait no I took a closer look at the image it’s his original costume not a new one my bad

  • yognot

    November 26th, 2014 - 3:48am

Ooohhhh i think I know who the villain is….. He’s green from what we’ve seen in the trailer…. Who’s green and is an enemy of Christmas? The Grinch.

  • SketchJr

    November 25th, 2014 - 8:34pm

Wait Santa could be……… The Rani!!

    • yognot

      November 26th, 2014 - 3:42am

Moffat said Santa was real and a good guy… Of course this IS Moffat talking so…..

    • SketchJr

      November 26th, 2014 - 11:29pm

Well yes…… But the Rani may have regenerated and became……… The Grimch

    • yognot

      November 27th, 2014 - 5:49pm

Oh yeah…… Well then in that case:

    • Anonymous

      November 27th, 2014 - 9:43pm

      He could be the monk

    • yognot

      November 28th, 2014 - 10:14pm

I would LOVE to see the return of the Monk.

  • SketchJr

    November 25th, 2014 - 8:32pm

Well at least it’s not called Last Christmas of the Doctor or something to that affect! Also love Peter Capaldis new costume.

  • the astronaut of death

    November 25th, 2014 - 6:45pm

love the title and the promo image seems a great Christmas special.

what is everyone’s best Christmas special mine is

    a Christmas carol

      November 25th, 2014 - 6:59pm

      The Runaway Bride.

    • The Moffat Paradox

      November 25th, 2014 - 7:56pm

Last years because it was more like a proper episode which tied up the loose ends from Matt Smiths time in the Tardis without seeming TOO Christmassy.

    • CJ

      November 25th, 2014 - 7:56pm

      The Snowmen

    • The five doctors

      November 25th, 2014 - 8:38pm

Mine is The End of Time

    • The Moffat Paradox

      November 25th, 2014 - 10:13pm

If we’re talking about the worst then IMO The Doctor The Widow And The Wardrobe wins hands down.Too schmaltzy for me when Disney et al have that covered at that time of year.Dont we want life the universe and everything to be more at stake for a Christmas Special before we’ve finished the last mince pie for the day?

      November 26th, 2014 - 4:03pm

The Snowmen? You must be joking.

I change my mind, its The Next Doctor, I really enjoyed that episode

    • T4RD1S

      November 28th, 2014 - 9:46pm

I actually liked the doctor, the widow and the wardrobe, my favourite one is the end of time, I dont usually like the christmas specials

    • Dalek The Supreme

      December 1st, 2014 - 10:26pm

Hmm… I’d have to say either The Snowmen or The Time of the Doctor.

    • kyle

      December 2nd, 2014 - 7:59am

i forgot the episode but its the one with the titanic in space

  • NathanWho

  • CJ

    November 25th, 2014 - 3:52pm

Short Synopsis: The Doctor and Clara face their Last Christmas. Trapped on an Arctic base, under attack from terrifying creatures, who are you going to call? Santa Claus!

    • CJ

      November 25th, 2014 - 3:53pm

BTW I think Santa Claus might turn out to be Time Lord! Not a bad one of course, a good one

    • MrHaloWho

      November 25th, 2014 - 4:06pm

It’s their first Christmas as well.

  • paul

    November 25th, 2014 - 3:50pm

I wonder who the villian is? George Michael?? lol

  • CJ

    November 25th, 2014 - 3:35pm

The question is, a last Christmas for who exactly?

    • MrHaloWho

      November 25th, 2014 - 4:06pm

      No, for Oswald exactly

    • MrHaloWho,

      November 25th, 2014 - 4:07pm

No, the question is: have there been any similar murders?

    • T4RD1S

      November 28th, 2014 - 9:43pm

      clara is not leaving

  • Tardisn’t

    November 25th, 2014 - 3:28pm

Looking forward to this one, I’m hoping for Ice Warriors or Sea Devils as the villain, and I actually think Nick Frost is prefect to play Santa Clause!

    • The Moffat Paradox

      November 25th, 2014 - 9:41pm

Probably be neither but I am ALL for bringing back what I consider to be the REAL Silurians whiich is not the Madam Vastra variety.

  • MrHaloWho

    November 25th, 2014 - 3:26pm

The End Of Time (because time ends when Tenant leaves the show)
A Christmas Carol (Totally unrelated to Dickens’ book. Of course.)
The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe (Nothing like the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.)
The Snowmen (an episode centred on Clara and the Doctor is called the Snowmen)
Last Christmas (I gave you one of my hearts, the very next day, you put it in VanStaten’s museum)

    Not exactly original, are they?

    • MrHaloWho

      November 25th, 2014 - 3:27pm

OK, I guess Time Of The Doctor hasn’t been used before, but why would it? After The Name of the Doctor, The Night of the Doctor and the Day of the Doctor.

    November 25th, 2014 - 3:24pm

Last Christmas, I gave you my hearts. The very same day, you regenerated.

  • MrHaloWho

    November 25th, 2014 - 3:21pm

Oh, how original. Must have taken YEARS to think of that title.

Why would it be set last Christmas? Why not the one coming up in 30 days?

    • 100,000BC

      November 26th, 2014 - 3:32pm

Maybe it means THE Last Christmas, e.g. the Last Christmas that Earth will ever see, or the Last Christmas that Father Christmas will send presents, etc. Interesting play on words if it is…

    November 25th, 2014 - 2:13pm

I hope it’s like the snowmen, good plot, monsters, Christmassy and not like carol or wardrobe, that just bored me.
also, watched voyage of the damned yesterday and I still love it!

  • Anonymous

    November 25th, 2014 - 9:22am

I think it might refer to Final Christmas….rather than Previous Christmas…..deliberately ambiguous, me thinks.

  • Dalekparadigm2

    November 25th, 2014 - 8:58am

Last Christmas is quite clever really. From the song.

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. But the very next day you gave it away. Maybe it has something to do with the relationship between The Doctor and Clara..

    • MrHaloWho

      November 25th, 2014 - 3:22pm

But the Doctor has two hearts.

  • rycbar

    November 25th, 2014 - 8:51am

“Last Christmas”? Seriously? Its like they’re not even trying anymore. Lets just hope the episode is a LOT better than “The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe”.

    • Anonymous

      November 27th, 2014 - 3:07pm

Do they have to actually try,No they don’t
