What Did You Think of Nightmare in Silver?
What Did You Think of Nightmare in Silver?
Hedgewick’s World of Wonders was once the greatest theme park in the galaxy, but it’s now the dilapidated home to a shabby showman, a chess-playing dwarf and a dysfunctional army platoon.
When the Doctor, Clara, Artie and Angie arrive, the last thing they expect is the re-emergence of one of the Doctor’s oldest foes. The Cybermen are back
Now that the 7th episode of series 7b has aired in the UK what did you think?, was it the best episode ever or just average.

Scott’s TARDIS
April 14th, 2014 - 10:00pmI agree with MCA. I think he’s a good actor but his attempts to play an evil version of the character in Nightmare in Silver failed.

April 13th, 2014 - 4:47pmI am afraid you are wrong
Matt smith is one of the best actors who ever lived in every episode he played the doctor , he gave a ground breaking performance and in nightmare in silver he gave another amazing performance and I would like to see you try to do what he dose
And if he was a terrible actor then why would he get countless awards
So you are wrong 🙂
MCA
April 12th, 2014 - 10:16pmNightmare in Silver is the best example that Matt Smith is a TERRIBLE actor. Many actors have done an “evil twin” version of a character they play, and Smith’s attempt at such is so unbelievably bad it’s cringe-worthy. While possessed by the Cyberman programming the Doctor appears neither different nor evil, despite Smith obviously trying to be so.
Dalek: the Supreme
May 30th, 2013 - 1:33amI agree that it’s gone uphill, but I don’t blame David Tennant, I blame Russel T Davies. I always felt his finales went downhill after Series 3, the quality of the episodes after Series 1, and out of his companions I only really liked Martha and maybe Captain Jack. Steven Moffat wrote most of my favorites from the RTD era, and his Asylum of the Daleks, The Name of the Doctor, The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, and The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang are among my all-time favorites.
Cybermen FTW
May 29th, 2013 - 9:19pmI must say, the episode was good. They could have just got a lot more out of it. The cry for a two-parter is a wise one. Which episodes of New Who stand out the most in your mind? The Stolen Earth? The Parting of the Ways? The Age of Steel? The Empty Child? What do these have in common? They are 2-parters. And that adds a little something which makes a big episode into a grand one. And that is what the Cybermen needed to make their grand return.
Cybermen FTW
May 29th, 2013 - 9:09pmI heard that in terms of the origins of the Cybermen, the Cybus Cybermen and the Mondas Cybermen encountered each other and upgraded themselves into each other, hence where the mixture of the two comes from.
VASHTA NERADA
May 26th, 2013 - 7:58amIt was a fantastic episode but I have to agree the kids were lame. Everything else was terrific. Also the cybermen’s new heads look a lot like the Tomb of the Cybermen, which I found particularly odd.
