I try and explain to people who don’t understand my fascination with Doctor Who, that it’s no different to you being a fan of a particular football club. It’s something you idealise, and enjoy when it’s going well, and criticise when it isn’t. Tonight is the equivalent of a football final to many Doctor Who fans. Whether it’s a winner remains to be seen.

July 1st, 2017 - 1:07pmThis is the least I’ve ever been anticipating a series finale. And as great at acting Peter os, I still don’t have a the faintest idea what his Doctor’s character is, he has been wasted in my opinion in some of the worst series since the revival.

June 30th, 2017 - 10:45pmHe has been a superb Doctor. This series especially has seen him reach his acting peak. I think though it is the right time for Capaldi to leave. Three series seems to be the normal average for most actors playing the Doctor. Hartnell, Troughton, Davison, McCoy, Tennant, Smith and Capaldi all did three series.

June 29th, 2017 - 6:33pmI’m still looking forward to ‘The Doctor Falls’ though. I can’t help myself. I haven’t thought about much else all week, and it’s great. Even people at work considered ‘World Enough and Time’ to be brilliant, and they haven’t got into discussion about Doctor Who since David Tennant! So it’s certainly created a buzz at the moment.
